The Yellow Workshop
A Department offering protected job activities
The Yellow Workshop offers protected job activities for adults diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, including Aspergers Syndrome and other contact difficulties.
To enrol in the protected job activities you must have turned 18 and have a permanent income, ex. public pension.
The structure and type of work is based on individual needs and qualifications.
The Yellow Workshop offers different kind of workshops, these are:
Woodwork Workshop
In this workshop the employees produce their own products, restore old furniture or they
undertake any odd jobs around the organisation’s buildings etc.
Fitting Workshop
The Yellow Workshop cooperates with external partners and carries out different types of fitting-, assemble- or packing work.
Creative Workshop
This workshop focuses on creative work processes, which can result in products of high quality and consequently come up for sale.
The workshop specialises in painting, wickerwork, knitting and other kind of needlework etc.
The Green Serviceteam
This workshop does most of its work outside in garden areas, focusing on planting and maintenances hereof.
In addition to the workshops the employees can carry out cross-disciplinary work in the department.
The workshops are regularly being evaluated and depending on the need of the employees and qualifications of our staff new type of workshops are always considered an option.
